My name is Ray Cole. After spending over a decade as a software engineer (working primarily for NCR Corporation in San Diego, California), I made a career switch in the late 1990s to online learning and instructional design. I got my master’s degree in Instructional Technologies in 2005 and began teaching graduate classes in 2007, in addition to the work I continue to do as an instructional design consultant. Past clients include Johnson & Johnson, Amgen, Genentech, Sun Microsystems, Corning Display Technologies, SupportSoft, and Wells Fargo, among others.
