I studied music composition with San Diego experimental
music composer Igor Korneitchouk. I composed my
Fantasy for Computer-Driven Piano to inaugurate Dr.
Korneitchouk’s then-new Yamaha Disklavier Grand Piano. My
homage to Mexico City composer Conlon Nancarrow,
Canon for Conlon, was selected by the Stuart Commision for broadcast on the Terry Allen Music Tree, part of the Stuart Collection of modern art on the University of California, San Diego campus. My Multiplex: Etude for Clarinet Solo is published by Drake Mabry Publishing, and Sodium for solo piano was selected for the 2005 60x60 "Pacific Rim"
concert and subsequent 2-CD set, 60x60 (2004-2005), released on the Vox Novus label.
I have written (or sometimes co-written) liner notes for experimental music CDs released by Old King Cole Productions and MMC Recordings, including recordings by Igor Korneitchouk, Heskel Brisman, Will Ogdon, and William Thomas McKinley.
