Picture of George Svoboda GEORGE SVOBODA, first prize winner in the Guitar Competition of the City of Kromeriz, Czechoslovakia, has been heard in recital in his native Czechoslovakia, Germany, Spain, Hungary, Austria and the United States.

Svoboda is a composer and arranger who, as founder of the instrumental group PRIMASI, and member of the well-known Second Avenue Klezmer Ensemble, has performed throughout Southern California. Most recently, Svoboda performed for the President and Mrs. Clinton at Hotel Del Coronado. George Svoboda has been teaching at San Diego City schools as an Artist in Residence and as a guitar instructor at Mesa College since arriving in the U.S. Check out other CDs of his work, both as performer and composer at GuitarSounds!
